This was our first time visiting Alba. We decided to try here due to the reviews on the steaks. We had the mozzarella sticks and scallops to start which were delicious. My partner and son had a sirloin and ribeye and they said it was one of the best they have had and they have tried a lot. I had the Sunday roast and the beef just melted in my mouth. The selection of veg and potatoes was spot on also. We then finished with the chocolate cake, oreo sundea and biscoff cheese cake. All were fresh and delicious. The staff were very attentive, the ambience was very pleasant with nice music in the background. They even went out there way and brought my sons cake out singing happy birthday to him. Perfect from us entering to us leaving. Will definitely be back. Thank you xx

Absolutely fantastic meal. The garlic cream mussels were a much bigger portion than expected and the scallops were delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly, chunky chips are a must and felt really homely. Excellent, friendly service from all the staff. Honestly the best food we’ve had in a long time — couldn’t fault a single thing.

Had dinner here last night and the food was absolute perfection. My wife had king prawns as a starter and then the fillet steak and I had meatballs as a starter and then the Dallas steak. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and even though there was sauce options the steak was so well seasoned it didn't require a sauce. The staff were attentive and friendly, always willing to help. Given how much we enjoyed our food and service we left a decent tip, we were already out the door when a member of the team called us back thinking that we'd made a mistake of hadn't known how much we paid. I highly recommend this place and I will be back.

So me and my dad came here for dinner today and we will definitely be returning and I can’t wait to bring my partner. I got the 300g fillet steak cooked med rare with a side of garlic butter and my dad got the Rob Roy steak special. My steak was cooked perfectly and i think I might’ve been the best steak I’ve had, so juicy and flavourful. My dad also loved his special and gave it high praise. The staff were lovely making sure we were well looked after and the atmosphere was good. Can’t wait to return can’t recommend more

We’ve had two takeaways and now had a 5pm steak dinner at your restaurant and everything we’ve had has been beautifully cooked and surpassed our expectations. We had an absolutely fantastic meal tonight; the garlic cream mussels came in a much bigger portion than expected, enough for two and the scallops were delicious. Steak was spot on, chunky chips are a must and so homely. Excellent, friendly service throughout from all the staff. Honestly the best food we’ve had in a long time – couldn’t fault a single thing

We have eaten here a few times now, mostly for lunch. However we decided to book Christmas day dinner again after a great meal last Christmas day. They were 8 of us and every one thoroughly enjoyed there meals. They were a variety of meals selected for each each course and everyone was complementary about their chosen dishes. The steaks are amazing, prefectly cooked to preference on what I think is a charcoal grill, which gave the steaks a lovely flavour and rock salt served at the side compliments the steak prefectly. The cheesecake was also lovely. The staff are pleasent, attentive and service was brilliant and organised especially for it being Christmas day. I would recommend for both lunch and dinner. We will definitely be returning customers. Thank you for a perfect Christmas day meal!
